New place, new palace?

I've just moved into my own place, which means I now get to come home, climb into bed and watch tv. I leave the dishes until I have no more and I get dressed all over my home, leaving a trail of clothing as I go.

Along with all these bad habits, I am having the best time making my spot snazzy. I have yet to go to woolies and come home without more glasses/wooden spoons. I have fresh flowers in the kitchen, I cook roasts in my oven and I started a windowsill herb garden. Seriously, how great is it having a space to make your own? I just want friends to come over for vino and cheeses! (I have noise sensitive neighbours who may not share my sentiment though)

I've been poring over Louisa Brimble's life of late. She documents her everyday travels for you and me to enjoy and get jealous over. This series of photographs above makes me want to have lots of bowls and a wooden table and friends who wear jumpers when they come over and help me pick fresh produce for my no fuss garden. Now is that too much to ask for?
