My top blogger's top pick for Spring-a-ling!

All the lovely Lauren of the even lovelier blog, Glossary girl wants this spring is mint nail polish, boater hats and a-line skirts. I'd say that's a pretty fair request, wouldn't you? boater hats are so fantastic this season and I'm glad, because they make me think of Madeleine and how I used to wish to wear her little uniform in place of my boring blue pleated skirt.

Trés chic, Lauren!

My top blogger's top picks for Spring-a-ling!

Justine, blogger for ifor1 is itching to get her hands on a pair of  J Brand Houlihan jeans. Lucky for Justine, they’ve just arrived at This blogger already has a couple of other pairs of J Brand jeans and loves the fit, quality and longevity of their styles.

P.S I have heard from more than one source that these are the item you should have at the top of your wishlist for the coming season.
My top blogger's top pick for Spring-a-ling!

Angie Pants Batis of the super duper groovy blog, Lucky Pony has her eye on a Beatnik Bazaar  1950’s inspired swimming costume from her friend Thaya. Although Angie is not the biggest fan of beach days, she sure wouldn't mind much if she were sporting one of these babies. I couldn't agree more.

How pretty!

Thank's Angie

My sister is a dancer and has been touring with Grease the musical since the beginning of the year. Yesterday she came home from New Zealand and Australia and brought me the nicest things! One of which is an Australian Vogue. It really is a beautiful magazine, this fashion editorial being my favourite, So pretty with all the flowers and the colours and the models. Gawsh!

We spent the morning at Parifact Parisian Millinars. I have never seen so many hats in one building! Hanging from the ceiling and everything. Golly. There were some real pretty mesh like hats in pastel colours I wanted to sneak into my bag. Pity I didn't take one big enough. The grey and red hats Robyn is wearing have not yet had the offcuts cut off. I like them better this way!

Judi The Amazingly Talented Illustrator has the cutest blog in the world, take a look see and leave her something nice to come home to!

I did a spot of thrifting today with Adrienne, my sister. Amongst a big bag of items, I picked up this flower pot for R5! What a steal and the prettiness of the floral design makes me happy.

I'd totally live here. And I'd wear a hat everyday and invite all my friends to stay and throw lavish parties with plenty of champagne and I'd never have to listen to bad news or moaning. I'd also have a karaoke machine. I do love to sing.

The Science of Sleep is one of the best, beautiful, funny, inspiring films I've seen in a very long time. If you haven't seen it, please please please do! It will change your life and make you feel very un-creative for a while, but they you will want to make a sea out of cellophane.

This is where I sleep. Well this is one of the walls in my room at my flatalat in Stellenbosch. We are moving out at the end of November and it makes me sad. Moving back in my parents for a while until I come up with some brilliantly innovative way to make handfulls of money so I can do nothing but travel and shop until I am wise enough to get a proper adult job in the real world.
